EGRACONS AT THE EAIE 2015
The EGRACONS Project will be present at the EAIE 2015 Exhibition in Glasgow. We enthusiastically invite you to attend the Meet&Greet events organized by the EGRACONS project team at booth 816 from Wednesday, 16 September 2015 and Thursday, 17 September 2015 from 11 a.m to 12 p.m.
We look forward to learning about your student mobility experiences and increasing awareness of the grading cultures in Europe.
EUROPEAN COMMISSION LETTER TO NATIONAL AGENCIES
On 31 July 2015, the European Commission informed Erasmus+ National Agencies about the ECTS Users' Guide and the official launch of the Egracons grade conversion tool at the EAIE Conference in Glasgow.
In the special letter the European Commission calls for a broad dissemination of the Egracons tool among European universities, thus endorsing the submission of Grading Tables.

PROMOTION OF EGRACONS
Over the summer months two important promotional events took place to increase the impact of the Egracons project in Europe. First, a meeting of the ECTS Working Group took place at the DG-EAC of the European Commission on 7th July 2015 during which Valère Meus presented current opportunities and future challenges of the Egracons tool seen from different perspectives of the European stakeholders.
On 4th August 2015 Raimonda Markeviciene and Valère Meus delivered the presentation with the title "The ECTS-Grade – A new solution to old problems?" during the webinar on Use of ECTS in combination with learning outcomes organised by DAAD and STEERING (Support to Higher Education Reforms in Germany).
NEW PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
The Egracons project has created a dedicated section with a set of promotional materials such as new flyers and links to instruction videos on how to use the Egracons tools available for all interested parties wishing to disseminate the benefits of the Egracons Grade Conversion Tool.

FORTHCOMING DISSEMINATION EVENTS
- 7th September 2015, Anthony Vickers (University of Essex) will be giving an EGRACONS presentation at Cardiff University, UK
- 28th September 2015, Julia-Sophie Rothmann (University Justus-Liebig of Giessen) will promote the EGracons project among the participant at the DAAD Erasmus+ Annual Conference held in Berlin.
- 20th October 2015, Dominique d'Arippe (University of Liège) will present the Egracons project and the Egracons Grade Conversion Tool to the University of Louvain, Belgium, in the following meeting of the university's mobility responsible staff.
- 29th October 2015, Anthony Vickers (University of Essex) will be giving an EGRACONS presentation at Konstanz University, Germany
- 4th November 2015, Anthony Vickers (University of Essex) and Valère Meus (Ghent University) will be presenting the project and the tool at The Higher Education Open Space (HEOS), in Luxembourg.
- 5th November 2015, Kris Brussen (University Groningen) will present the Egracons project and grade conversion tool at the Saxon Universities reunion to be attended by officers in charge of grade recognition
- 5th November 2015, Valère Meus (Ghent University) will present the Egracons' project results at the SGroup Liaison Officers' Meeting in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
